Quail Hollow State Park Mountain Bike Trail

About This Trail

The mountain bike trail at Quail Hollow State Park is perfect for the beginning rider. The 3.5-mile loop is relatively flat, and has just enough rocks, logs, and other obstacles to start working on your mountain biking skills.

Even for more advanced riders, doing a few FAST laps at "The Quail" provides a good place to get a brisk aerobic workout. Its flat terrain is also popular as a testing ground for riders getting into singlespeed riding.

Park closes at 11 pm.

There are several parking places at the trailhead or a large parking lot at the bottom of the hill.

The trail is usually dry in most places. Other wetter places have bridges.

Location and Directions

The park is located just outside of Hartville in Stark County. The parking and trailhead are easy to find on the main park road, just off of Congress Lake Rd.  You can access Congress Lake Rd from Rt 224 north of the park, or from downtown Hartville south of the park.
