great product, but gps is very inaccurate.

    About Me

    Comments:

Great product with all the data it creates, but gps is very inaccurate. Ran my normal 5.1 mile run, and the Tickrx said I ran 5.85 miles one day and 6.46 miles another.

    Look Elsewhere

    About Me

    Comments:

Had this thing for a month. It's good when it works. Keyword: when. Over 80% of my time was spent trying to get it to monitor my heart rate and count reps correctly. Support is lackluster. Wanted me to replace the battery 3 weeks after buying this thing brand new. No thanks. Strap constantly unsnaps. So annoying mid-run. Really wanted this to work out with the Pear Sports app. Sadly, it's just not worth the money.

    More focused workouts.

    By Barbara

    from AZ, United States

    About Me

    Comments:

I'm able to be more focused in my workouts to maintain my heart rate at a higher level. It's helped me push myself more and notices subtle changes especially when I'm in spin class. I was unhappy that part of the plastic attachment to the chest strap broke after just two weeks. I glued it back but really...at the price point it needs to be more sturdy!

    Unreliable

    By 14woodstock

    from Chicago, IL, United States

    About Me

    Comments:

I could not get my new tickr x to reliably report my heart rate. The reported HR would start dropping significantly while my effort remained steady. It happened often enough to either disrupt my workout or give me inaccurate data after the workout. Looking for a refund.

    Easy to Use

    By NyteCrafter

    About Me

    Comments:

Works great with my Elemnt. Use it mostly every day during my Zwift workout sessions. Very easy to use and adjustable. Works right when you put it on. The only issue I have with it is connecting. Like when pairing it with Zwift, it doesn't pick it up. I did kind of notice that right when I closed every IOS app that's running in the background. It finally showed up on the screen. Not sure if that was it or what.

    Fantastic HRM

    By Dnels

    About Me

    Comments:

This is a really great HRM for the price. My favorite feature is that it will record your workout without having your phone connected. You can download the workout after right to the app. The apps are both well done... I like that the runfit app gives you the amount of time you spend in each heart rate zone.

Can't get it to register readings

    By Pablo Lobo

from Montgomery Village, MD, United States

    About Me

    Comments:

I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or my body shape just limits its usefulness but no matter where or how I wear this device, it will not get a consistent reading. The major challenge is that the closest I can get the back of the sensor to my chest still leaves a 1/2 gap. The instructions contain zero diagrams and support has been completely useless. If I wear the strap below my ribcage I can get a reading but it's widely inaccurate as it ranges from 25 to 120 for resting HR. My resting measured manually over 15 seconds gives approx 55 BPM and this has been confirmed over the last two months every time I visit the doctor. Extremely disappointed in the money I spent on this product. I have the KICKR and the BlueSC which I love but this product is over priced junk.

    Comments:

I use this for my runs (indoor and outdoor) and when I cycle on on my trainer via TrainerRoad. I feel I am getting more in tune with my body and know what my limits are with my workouts.

    By Newtomaha

    About Me

    Comments:

Ok, so I am the most lethargic person when it comes to fitness. I needed to upgrade my tickr and grabbed this bundle deal. Let me just say WOW! I've been using the tickr X with the pear app bundle for two weeks and have already seen great results. I even bought a second one for my wife and she is fired up! Get ready Summer-because I am coming for you!
